Dostum SMS — Terms of Service
These Terms govern your use of the Dostum SMS Android application. They are read alongside our company-wide Terms & Conditions.
1. What Dostum SMS is
Dostum SMS is a personal SMS transfer tool for Android. You install it on a phone you personally own and choose where your incoming texts should be forwarded: an email inbox you personally control and/or your own Telegram bot. From then on, each incoming SMS arriving on that phone is forwarded to the destination(s) you chose. The app exists so that you can read your own text messages on your other devices.
2. User eligibility and authorised use
By installing and using Dostum SMS, you represent and warrant that:
(a) you are the lawful owner and principal user of the Android device on which the application is installed;
(b) you are the lawful owner of every destination you configure — the destination email address, and/or the Telegram bot and chat you set up;
(c) you will not install Dostum SMS on a phone you do not personally own;
(d) you will not use the application to receive text messages on behalf of another person, to defeat security checks belonging to anyone other than yourself, or to relay messages from a SIM you do not lawfully control;
(e) you will not use the application in any way that violates Google Play developer policies, applicable consumer-protection law, or any local laws governing the receipt and storage of electronic communications.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account immediately if we have reasonable grounds to believe these representations are false.
3. Data handling and retention
(a) Dostum SMS forwards the incoming SMS on your phone to the destination(s) you configure — your email and/or your own Telegram bot. Each message is transmitted over an encrypted connection directly from your phone: to Hostinger's SMTP mail server (which relays it to the email provider you chose) and/or to Telegram's servers (api.telegram.org) using your own bot.
(b) Dostum's own servers never receive or store your message content. The app does not store your messages on any server — there is no Dostum backend in the forwarding path.
(c) Your chosen destinations are third parties: your email provider retains delivered emails under its own policy, and Telegram handles messages forwarded to it under Telegram's own Privacy Policy. We do not share message content with advertisers, analytics platforms, data brokers, or AI training datasets.
(d) A recent-activity history (sender, time, and message text of forwarded messages) is kept only on your device, in the app's private storage. Failed sends are retried locally on your device; no server is involved in retries.

4. Account termination
We may suspend or terminate your account, with or without notice, if:
(a) we receive credible evidence or have reasonable belief that the application is being used in violation of Section 2 above;
(b) we are required to do so by law, court order, or by Google Play, Apple, or applicable regulator;
(c) the account has been inactive for more than 24 months.
You may close your account at any time via the in-app Settings → Account → Delete account flow, or by emailing support@dostumamigo.com. Account closure deletes your account on our authentication service and wipes the app's on-device history and settings. 5. Price
Dostum SMS is currently free to use. There are no paid plans, subscriptions, or in-app purchases. If paid features are ever introduced, these Terms and the app's store listing will be updated before they take effect.
6. Limitations of liability
(a) Dostum SMS is provided on a best-effort basis. We do not guarantee that every text message will be delivered successfully or instantly. Carrier delays, OS-level battery management, network interruptions, and third-party email provider behaviour are outside our control.
(b) You are responsible for verifying that critical messages actually arrived at your chosen destination(s). Do not rely on Dostum SMS as the sole channel for time-sensitive communications.
(c) We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from missed, delayed, or undelivered messages, except where required by applicable consumer-protection law.
